2011–2012 Reflections Program Theme: “Diversity Means . . .”
 Since 1969, the national PTA Reflections Program has encouraged students across the nation and in American schools overseas to explore their artistic talents. The PTA Reflections Program is designed to enhance quality arts education for students in preschool through grade 12, encouraging them to create works of art in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, musical composition, photography, and the visual arts. More than 500,000 students participate through their local PTAs each year—millions over the course of the program’s 40 years.
There are three programs students and PTAs can participate in:

- October 17, 2011 - Reflection Chair meeting at Ed Center 6:00 – 7:00 pm
- October 21, 2011 - School Reflections deadline for students
- November 11, 2011 - Arlington CCPTA Reflections deadline
- December 9, 2011 - CCPTA sends entry to District

Welcome to the Arlington County Council of PTAs (CCPTA). The CCPTA comprises local PTA units from 22 elementary schools, 5 middle schools and 3 high schools located in Arlington County. Organized under the authority of the Virginia PTA, our mission is to promote the goals of PTA - supporting and speaking on behalf of children in our schools, helping parents to be effective guardians and role models for their children, and encouraging greater parental involvement at the school level.
