Bylaws Revisions:
Remember to check your unit bylaws to be sure you are on track for your five year revision as this also impacts your "unit in good standing" status. A November 2009 bylaws template will be available soon on the VA PTA web site with new amendments for state, districts, councils and local units. However, you can currently use the 2008 version as the Bylaws Committee will update the template during the bylaws revisions process. Welcome to the Arlington County Council of PTAs (CCPTA). The CCPTA comprises local PTA units from 22 elementary schools, 5 middle schools and 3 high schools located in Arlington County. Organized under the authority of the Virginia PTA, our mission is to promote the goals of PTA - supporting and speaking on behalf of children in our schools, helping parents to be effective guardians and role models for their children, and encouraging greater parental involvement at the school level.
