5 Take-Aways from October 15, 2010 Meeting
Provide a brief summary of CCPTA meetings at your PTA meetings by attending your PTA meeting or via email using these take-aways as a framework. Encourage your PTA board to utilize the email group lists (circulated separately) to reach PTA officers at other schools to share information and ask questions. The CCPTA is making extra efforts to help you find ways to communicate information back to your PTA membership. Please let us know if you have questions or suggestions on how we can help facilitate this effort.

- Dues -- CCPTA Dues - December 1, 2010 to Lavonne Stewart. $.25 State/National Dues - National dues remain the same at $1.75 and state dues increased to $1.00. Local units will submit $2.75 to the state office.

Welcome to the Arlington County Council of PTAs (CCPTA). The CCPTA comprises local PTA units from 22 elementary schools, 5 middle schools and 3 high schools located in Arlington County. Organized under the authority of the Virginia PTA, our mission is to promote the goals of PTA - supporting and speaking on behalf of children in our schools, helping parents to be effective guardians and role models for their children, and encouraging greater parental involvement at the school level.
