The next CCPTA meeting will be held Monday, January 23rd in Room 101 at the Education Center (1426 N. Quincy Street) at 7:00pm. A draft agenda for the meeting is coming SOON.
The CCPTA Brainstorming and Information Session is at 6PM on the same night. Topic: traffic flow, parking, and transportation. Anyone is invited and encouraged to attend this meeting - please pass on the information to anyone you think might be interested. We've had a lot of discussion on this topic - and I am looking forward to very interesting and productive session.
A great example of PTAs partnering is the upcoming "Eat the World" Fundraiser, where Barcroft, Campbell, Claremont & Randolph Elementary School PTAs have joined forces with the new Columbia Pike resturant Sâuçá (eatsauca.com) for profit sharing to benefit all four schools on two more nights, Jan 24 and Feb 21 (each night supports all 4 PTAs).

Welcome to the Arlington County Council of PTAs (CCPTA). The CCPTA comprises local PTA units from 22 elementary schools, 5 middle schools and 3 high schools located in Arlington County. Organized under the authority of the Virginia PTA, our mission is to promote the goals of PTA - supporting and speaking on behalf of children in our schools, helping parents to be effective guardians and role models for their children, and encouraging greater parental involvement at the school level.
